The England international signed on transfer deadline day from Manchester United scored a hatrick , his first for Arsenal and in the Champions League as Arsenal thumped Galatasaray 4-1 in Match Day 2 .
He joins fellow Englishmen Wayne Rooney (September 2004 v Fenerbahce) and Michael Owen (December 2009 v Wolfsburg) have managed i to score a hatrick in the Champions League in the past 10 years. Congrats to him !
