Teen girl burnt to death after she was thought to be a suicide bomber!!!

A teenage girl was burnt to death today in Bauchi after she was suspected to be a member of Boko Haram and a possible suicide bomber.

According to reports, the young lady had refused security men stationed at the entrance of the Muda Lawal market in Bauchi state to screen her with metal detectors. This raised suspicion among the market men and women who then forcefully raised the Hijab she was wearing and discovered two bottles tied around her waist. The market men and women immediately descended on her, beat her to death and then burnt her remains.


Confirming the incident, the state police spokesperson, Hatuna Mohammed in a statement said the sad incident happened at about 7am and that she'd been killed before police could come to her rescue

"At about 0700 hours (0600 GMT), information at our disposal revealed that a yet to be identified lady who allegedly refused to allow herself to be screened at the entrance of Muda Lawal Market Bauchi was attacked by irate mob," he said

WASHINGTON—The U.S. is providing spy-satellite imagery to Ukraine to help in its fight against Russia-backed rebels, but with a catch: the images are significantly degraded to avoid provoking Russia or compromising U.S. secrets.

The White House agreed last year to Ukraine's request to provide the photos and other intelligence. But before delivering them, U.S. officials black out military staging areas on Russian territory and reduce the resolution so that enemy formations can't be clearly made out, making them less useful to Ukrainian military commanders.

Those steps, which delay the delivery of the images by at least 24 hours, are designed to keep the U.S. out of the so-called kill chain—military jargon for the stages of lethal operations—because of concerns that furnishing actionable intelligence to the Ukrainians could trigger a more aggressive Russian military response.

Number two is the realisation after my own contest I now understand better the factors that can affect Nigeria either positively or negatively. I believe PDP, having been there for 16 years, and not much to show for it, but with plenty of money gone down the drain, we should be able to tell them that we can change them when they underperform. So it's not just about liking Buhari.

In my own case I am supporting Buhari because I have tried Jonathan, I have seen that he has been there for so many and he should have made better impact, though his people will have us believe he is the best President Nigeria ever had. I won't argue about that. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I see Buhari as a rallying point at this moment. Nigeria needs a father figure. I didn't believe a day will come that I will campaign for Buhari. We all use to see him as one of the dictators who ruled Nigeria in those days.

But then, the reality on ground is that we have only 2 options between Jonathan and Buhari and since I am a member of opposition so who ever they bring in opposition so who ever they bring in opposition I must accept.

I also don't believe Buhari is so bad that I can't accept him. Despite whatever you want to say about him, I think he is a very disciplined man. I think he is a man that out of the respect we have for him and the trust that people have for him we would be able to look up to him to give us a new direction. I support Buhari and I will continue to support him. I am a volunteer. I hope he will win.

Sudan Using Child Soldiers To Fight Civil War-!!!!UN

Hundreds of boys in South Sudan have been kidnapped and forced to become child soldiers, the United Nations children's agency says. The figure is a big increase on the 89 child abductions reported by Unicef last month.

Their latest statement blamed a militia group allied to the government.

South Sudan is in a state of civil war with forces loyal to President Salva Kiir pitted against rebels led by former Vice-President Riek Machar. The campaign group Human Rights Watch has accused both sides of using child soldiers.

"We fear [the children] are going from the classroom to the front line," said Unicef's representative in South Sudan, Jonathan Veitch.

Witnesses report seeing children as young as 12 carrying guns, according to the UN.

The seizure of the boys happened in an area known as Wau Shilluk, in oil-rich Upper Nile state. The UN believes 12,000 children were used as child soldiers across South Sudan last year.

About 1.5 million people have been displaced by the fighting in the country and 2.5 million are facing severe food shortages.

Ukraine Facing Hyperinflation!!!

Washington Post: Ukraine unofficially has 272 percent inflation

Ukraine's currency has fallen 70 percent since the start of 2014, and that's pushed it into hyperinflation.

Hyperinflation is always and everywhere a political phenomenon.

It happens after wars or revolutions, when governments have to print the money they need because there's not much of an economy left to tax—which brings us to Ukraine. It had a revolution, it has a war now, and it's all but broke. Inflation is officially 28.5 percent, but, according to Johns Hopkins professor Steve Hanke, it's really more like 272 percent. And that's only going to get worse as long as Ukraine's currency does.

WNU Editor: Regular readers of this blog know that I have family, friends, and associates in Ukraine .... and the picture that they are painting tor me on what is happening in Ukraine right now is grim. Prices have literally exploded .... especially on the essentials .... and no one has any money to pay for it. What is even more frightening is that all savings have been literally destroyed .... and there is now sheer panic on what is going to happen next. Promises from the West that they will provide financial relief have not been delivered, and the economic reforms that are needed for Ukraine to improve its economy have not been implemented. This crisis reminds me of the Weimer Republic in the 1930s .... no bombs had been dropped, no one was killed, the trains ran on time .... but hyperinflation resulted in producing tens of millions of casualties .... and from this disaster came the rise of Adolf Hitler. There are now millions of casualties in Ukraine .... and there is no sign of relief anywhere.

Lucy and Maria Aylmer's mother Donna is half Jamaican and their father Vince is white, and together they managed to produce one white twin and one black twin.

They have both lived their lives managing to convince people that they are twins. Dailymail reports that, their parents separated few years after they were born. Their mum said the scan never revealed their colours and she was shocked when the midwives presented them to her.

The girls, now 18, says they have had to prove they were twins by showing most of their friends their birth certificate, lol.
