CIMA qualification aligns with Shell Group competencies for employees

Shell Group Plc carried out a survey of CIMA-trained staff, to understand how the qualification's syllabus aligns with the company's required competences in its growing business concerns.

In order to achieve this, Shell provided CIMA with the competences it needs for the various roles in its finance function. Out of 42 competences, the CIMA syllabus covered 27, at its basic level, which matched about 65 per cent of Shell's expectations.

Key findings indicate that CIMA trained staff are more likely to be externally focused and quick acting. These are two of the five behaviours introduced in 2009 by Peter Vose, during his tenure as CEO of Shell.

In addition, CIMA trained staff are just as likely as the others to be commercially orientated. They also scored highly on 'value simplicity' and 'goal orientated'.The Shell study therefore concluded that the CIMA syllabus could form a basis for delivering high value to its operations.

This is just one of the many case studies that have been carried out regarding the contribution of CIMA trained staff to the viability of businesses operations at all levels.

Wiz Khalifa releases pics of Amber Rose 'dirty', 'unsafe' home to TMZ

Wiz Khaifa is trying to get custody of his son with Amber Rose and it looks like he's doing all he can now to make Amber look like an unfit mother. He released photos of her home to TMZ, claiming it's dirty and unsafe for a 1year old to live in. I hear!

The poop indicated in the photo is dog sh*t. But that's outside the home. Amber left a knife on the kitchen counter, not safe but does that make her an unfit mother? Then garbage is overflowing outside the home, that's not good too but Wiz c'mon, this is a woman you once loved. Sending someone to her home to take photos and send to TMZ? Minister of Youth Development and former Governor of Adamawa state, Boni Haruna, broke down yesterday after seeing the widespread destruction done to some villages by Boko Haram in Adamawa state. The Minister was part of a federal government delegation sent to carry out first hand inspection of areas that have been recaptured from Boko Haram in the North East with a view to rehabilitate the area and the villagers who are already returning back to their villages. Graphic photos: Election thugs leave huge knife inside man's chest

Do you see the huge knife sticking out from the man's chest area? That's the knife right after it was removed. This happened in Surulere, Lagos two weeks ago. The man was on his way to the airport to catch a flight. But because there was a lot of traffic that day, he decided to board a bike. While on his way, he encountered some election campaign hoodlums at Surulere who tried to snatch his bag. In the process, he was stabbed in the chest and the hoodlums left the knife in there and ran away.

He was rushed to the Eko hospital Surulere and from there moved to LUTH where the surgery was performed after two days to remove the knife. Thankfully he's alive and recovering very well. See photos of the knife still in his chest before the surgery after the cut...

My goodness! Thank God for saving his life... please people be careful in these election time. These thugs look for every opportunity to steal and cause mayhem.
