Those in the know claim that Iyanya's manager Ubi Franklin who also manages other artistes signed to the Made Men Music Group where Emma Nyara is signed too, is not only bedding her but also using the lady to practice his boxing skills.

Ubi has however come out to deny this cliam saying they are just colleagues! Speaking with Punch Newspaper's Saturday beats, He said;

"How do you sexually assault somebody you are not dating? There is nothing like that. With the kind of business we do, people just think that the only way they can set us up is to go to the press because we are public people. It is very sad. We are not dating and there is nothing like that. This entire thing is brand damaging because nothing like that has ever happened before. I cannot do such because I have a lot of things to lose and they are everything I have worked hard to get. I have a reputation of integrity to keep, so why would I do such?"

"Emma would have spoken out. She is not a fool, she is an American. I don't know why people would think I would ever sexually harass a woman. This is somebody that just got back with me from Dubai and Malaysia. We travel round the world together, so I don't see where such a wicked rumour about me would emanate from. Those things are uncalled for and I don't know who could be peddling such a rumour against me."

"They say we are dating and they also say that I am sexually abusing her, how is that possible? It does not add up at all. There is nothing like that and there would never be anything like that. I am a decent man. I am just being set up."

A woman in Gokwe District of Zimbabwe, was forced to carry out her estranged late husband's bizarre wish, when she was forced to publicly have sex with his corpse » inside the coffin beforeit was buried.

The woman, identified as Sarah Simirayi » of Svisvi, left her husband about two years ago foranother man who worked as a truck driver and recently moved back to her hometown after her boyfriend left her fora new lover. Sadly, her estranged husband, who was 68 years old, died a few weeks after she returned.

The late husband, Nunurayi Musamo, left a note and asked it be read at his funeral. The letter contained a message to his former wife, saying that he died from a broken heart by missing her, and asked that she make love to him before he is buried.

At first, Sarah tried to resist, but after lots of pressure from his family and friends, she later accepted the difficult task.

3 Secondary School Arrested for Beating their Teacher to Pulp...

Three secondary school students have been arraigned before the Osogbo Magistrates' Court for allegedly beating up their teacher. The accused persons are Haruna Waliu (19), Adebayo Abeeb (19) and Oladimeji Tunde (21).

They were alleged to have committed the offence on October 24, 2014, at St. Mark's Anglican Grammar School in Kolabalogun Area, Osogbo. According to the charge sheet, the purported crime was contrary to and punishable under Section 517 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol. II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2003.

The accused persons were also alleged to have assaulted one Osho Bamidele Samuel by beating him to a pulp. The prosecution further alleged that the accused persons caused a breach of the peace by also stoning their teachers in the school premises.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Isiaka Ajadi, told the court that the alleged crimes were contrary to and punishable under Sections 351 and 249 (d) of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol. II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2003.

The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge of conspiracy, assault and breach of public peace levelled against them by the police. However, counsel to the accused persons, Mr. W. A. Idowu, urged the court to grant the students bail, promising that they would not jump bail, if granted.

The Chief Magistrate, Mr. Muhammed Lasisi, granted each of the accused bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum, advising parents to caution their children. The case was adjourned till February 9, 2015, for hearing.

According to our blog pals at Encomium Magazine Former Governor of Abia state and Slok Group Chairman, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has topped the chart of wealthy Nigerians with private jet by acquiring an exquisite plane which cost at least 12 Billion Naira!

Gulfstream G650

The mogul has acquired the latest edition of a brand new Gulfstream G650 model jet reportedly worth N12 billion .The jet landed Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, in the early hours of Thursday, Sept 18,2014 from New York (United States of America).

It is arguably the fastest civilian jet in the world, has room for a basketball court, 8,000-statute-mile range and some of the most sophisticated avionics rivaling nearly anything in the sky. And it's also perfect for doing business on a global scale. Gulfstream described the aircraft as ultra-high-speed, ultra-long-range business jet and the gold standard in business aviation.

The main price of the aircraft is $65 million but other charges could have raised it to $75 million, and according to US-based Forbes magazine, the Gulfstream G650 has an order book of 200 customers throughout the world.

"A $65 million price tag doesn't seem to detract from the fascination with this incredible airplane. While the rest of the business aviation industry is battling the depressed economy, there seems to be a buoyant market in the US and abroad for this ultra-high-priced, high-performance jet.

"And why not? With a top speed of 92 per cent of the speed of sound (arguably the fastest civilian jet in the world), room for a basketball team, 8,000-statute-mile range and some of the most sophisticated avionics rivalling nearly anything in the sky, this airplane is perfect for doing business on a global scale.

"Because of its superlatives, including price, however, it also appeals greatly to the 'if you've got it, flaunt it' crowd," Forbes said on its Brand Voice website.

Gulfstream described the aircraft as ultra-high-speed, ultra-long-range business jet and the gold standard in business aviation.

The model was introduced in 2008 with a capacity for eight passengers and a crew of four on nonstop legs of 7,000 nautical miles (12,964 km) for standard configuration.

"That means it will link Dubai with New York and London with Buenos Aires. With its powerful Rolls-Royce BR725 engines, the G650 will cover shorter distances at a speed of Mach 0.925. No traditional business jet will take you closer to the speed of sound," Gulfstream said on its website.

The Gulfstream G650 was formally launched as an internal company project in May 2005, and publicly unveiled on March 13, 2008. At the public announcement, company executives stated the new model would become Gulfstream's largest, fastest and most expensive business jet on entry to the market.

The G650 has a cruise speed of Mach 0.85 to 0.90, with maximum speed of Mach 0.925 and a range of up to 7,000nmi (13,000 km). It can be equipped with a full kitchen and bar and may be equipped with a variety of entertainment features including satellite phones and wireless Internet.

The jet uses two Rolls Royce BR725 engines, each producing a maximum thrust of 17,000 pounds-force (75.6 kN). Gulfstream states that with a weight of less than 100,000 pounds (45,360 kg), it is able to land at small airports avoiding the busy airports around the world.

To provide better usage of the internal volume, Gulfstream designers rejected the usual circular fuselage cross-section in favor of an oval which uses a flatter lower portion. The cabin is 8 feet 6 inches (2.59 m) wide and 6 feet 5 inches (1.96 m) high. The fuselage is of metal construction and composite construction is used for empennage, winglets, rear pressure bulkhead, engine cowlings, cabin floor structure and many fairings. The eight oval cabin windows on each side of the fuselage are 28 inches (71 cm) wide.

The wing uses greater sweep (36 degrees) than previous Gulfstream aircraft (for example, the G650 wing has 27 degrees of sweep). It does not use leading-edge high-lift devices, and tracks for rear-mounted flaps are completely enclosed within the airfoil contour. The wing's leading edge is a continuously-changing curve, and the airfoil varies continuously from root to tip (the tip incorporates winglets).

The aircraft controls are completely fly-by-wire, with no mechanical control between pilot and flight surfaces. The surfaces are moved by dual hydraulic systems. More airliners today are using fly-by-wire, but only one other current business jet (the Dassault Falcon 7X) is so equipped.

The G650 shares its yokes and column with the G650 in an effort to receive a common type rating. The wing design was completed in 2006. A total of 1,400 hours of wind tunnel testing was completed by 2008. A pressure-test fuselage was built and tested, including an ultimate-pressure test of 18.37 psi.

The G650 taxied under its own power for the first time on September 26, 2009. A public rollout ceremony was later held on September 29, 2009. The G650 had its maiden flight on November 25, 2009.

Flight testing for the maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925 was announced as completed on May 4, 2010.Gulfstream reported on August 26, 2010 that the G650 hit a maximum speed of Mach 0.995 during a dive as part of its 1,800-hour flight test programme. In April 2011, a G650 crashed during flight testing.

The G650 test aircraft were grounded until May 28, 2011, when the remaining test aircraft were allowed to return to flight testing. On September 7, 2012, the G650 received its type certificate from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Its first delivery was to an American customer named Preston Henn on December 27, 2012.

Now a spoke person for the DSS, Mrs Marilyn Ogar has issued a statement explaining their actions. Please read;

Actress Stephanie Okereke Condemns Her Brother fo Raping UNILAG Student!

I'm sure by now most of you (If not all of you) might have heard the shocking details of how actress Stephanie Okereke's elder brother Daniel brutally raped a UNILAG student... Well I woke up this morning to an urgent email from Stephanie's PA concerning the matter...

Please read what she sent me;

"I am distraught and devastated to hear of the recent allegation of rape brought against a relative of mine, Daniel Okereke (my brother).

While it is a very difficult time for me, and my family; I feel the need to make clear my position, lest there be any doubt. Rape is rape, regardless of who the face of the accused is.

Indeed, the irony is not lost on me. I have spent my lifelong career advocating and living my conviction that women around the world should be able to live free of violence, sexual harassment or any form of abuse against their persons.

This conviction led me to be involved in numerous initiatives combating violence against women in several countries including the U.S, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The conviction also led me to place much of my energy on my work with Vesico Vaginal Fistula (VVF), a passion that dates back to my time at the University of Calabar.

As a student, I heard a story about young girls who had been forced into early marriage and were suffering the negative and embarrassing effects of VVF. The story stayed in my consciousness and drove me, for years, to seek ways to raise awareness on the condition; leading to my work with a team of dedicated doctors to carry out repair surgeries for VVF victims across the country; and my self-produced, soon to be released movie, 'DRY.'

So, again, it is indeed heart breaking for me to receive and deal with news alleging a family member of mine is an alleged perpetrator of sexual violence against a woman. I am devastated.

This case is now in Nigeria's criminal justice system as the accused awaits arraignment. I have also encouraged and assured the alleged victim of my stance against rape and applaud her for her bravery to upset the culture of silence, in Nigeria; even as I accord deference and patiently wait for the criminal justice system to determine the guilt or innocence of my brother.

For Nigerian press and blogs; I call on you to please report this case in an ethical manner. I am a married woman living my life. The alleged transgression of my relative does not make it mine. The focus should be the impact of rape on the alleged victim, and resources for other alleged victims, not me.

Some members of the press and blogs have turned me into the accuser; using my name for sensational headlines and putting my images, exclusively, in their stories. This is a form of victimization of me as a woman, its unethical and extremely hurtful. I am not the alleged accused.

I therefore please ask all bloggers and the media who have placed my pictures and name to this story to refrain from further using me to sensationalise this story.
