Actor Matt Damon confirmed that he will return to the role of Jason Bourne in 2016 after stepping out of the spotlight for the fourth instalment of the popular franchise.

Damon's best friend Ben Affleck lift the lid on the project in a red carpet interview with E! News. The two were joking about whether they treat each other differently when one is in better shape than the other, when Affleck let the news slip.

"Well, (Damon's) going to be doing a Bourne movie next fall when I've just completely lost any semblance of physical fitness. So –" Affleck told E! News.

"Yes, next year," Damon responded to E! News when asked for clarification.

"It'll be in 2016 when the movie will actually come out. (Director) Paul Greengrass is going to do another one and that's all I ever said. I just needed him to say yes."

A 32-year-old pastor has been remanded in prison for allegedly raping and impregnating an 11-year-old girl (names withheld) in Lagos State. The pastor whose church is located at Odunbaku Street in Iju Ishaga, a Lagos suburb, was arraigned at a Senior Magistrates' Court, Abule Egba, Lagos State.

According to reports, the pastor allegedly told the victim's mother that there is an arrow of death in her house and must move out to avoid death. In obedience, the woman moved into the church with her children.

But trouble started when the woman noticed some strange behaviour by her daughter who complained of stomach pain and showed signs of malaria.

It was later discovered that she was two months pregnant and when pressed further, she revealed that the pastor gave her 'holy water' to drink and also gave her a red substance to rub on her face.

The victim further added that she became unconscious only for her to see the pastor on her.

When she wanted to scream, she said he used his hand to cover her mouth before sleeping with her, and told her she would die if she told anyone.

When the charges were read, the pastor pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge.

The presiding magistrate, Mr. T. A. Elias, ordered him remanded in prison custody, pending the advice of Directorate of Public Prosecution and adjourned the case to January 2015.

Robin Van Persie, Diego Costa, James Rodriguez, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and four other players' brilliant overhead, volleyed, long-range etc goals scored during the 2013/2014 season have been found worthy of FIFA goal of the year nomination.

 The FIFA Puskás Award, created in honour of Ferenc Puskás, the captain and star of the Hungarian national team during the 1950s, will be presented for the sixth year in a row at the FIFA Ballon d'Or 2014, which will be held at the Kongresshaus in Zurich.

Fans from across the world will decide which of the ten goals chosen by FIFA and selected Football Committee members will be the winner of this award. The vote will be an online poll with the winning goal and top three to be announced on January 12 at the ceremony for the Ballon d'Or.
