SCOAN collapse: This Ghanaian Pastor is accusing T.B Joshua of sacrificing human lives

SCOAN collapse: This Ghanaian Pastor is accusing T.B Joshua of sacrificing human lives
Following the tragedy that befell the Synagogue Church of all Nation last Friday, a Ghanaian Pastor, Isaac Owusu Bempah of Glorious Word Ministry International (GWMI) has accused Prophet T.B Joshua of human sacrifice.

While speaking on Okay FM hours ago, the Ghanaian Pastor said  'These are evil hands at work because I know people who have to make human sacrifices in order to be promoted in the spiritual realm…I know some people will vilify me for making this known.'

He also accused the SCOAN prophet for coming to Ghana some time ago and causing the death of four people during a programme he held.
'Look at what is happening to him. You came for a programme in Ghana and that led to the death of four people. You also woke up one day and a whole building collapsed, killing over forty people.'

Governor Fashola hosts Ebola survivors in his office, they recount their experience to him! (photos)

Babatunde Fashola, the Lagos state Governor, hosted some Ebola survivors yesterday at his office at the state Secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja.

Some of the survivors are the widow of late Port Harcourt doctor, Dr Emenuo Kelechi (left), Dr Ibeawuchi Morris (second left), Dr Fadipe Akinniyi (centre), Mr. Dennis Akagha (late Nurse Justina Ejelonu's fiance) and Dr Adaora Igonoh.

Speaking with the survivors, the governor commended them for coming forward to share their experiences, saying that they are proof that the disease is not a death sentence.
While sharing their experiences, one of the survivors and staff of First Consultant Hospital, Dr. Ibeabuchi Morris, said he was the first to receive late Sawyer at the hospital where he was first treated for Malaria.

He said after the patient continued to have high temperature, he took the blood sample and sent it to the laboratory, then contacted Dr. Stella Adadevoh who advised him to continue attending to the patient pending the arrival of the test result. He said when the blood result arrived it was confirmed that he was EVD positive. Sawyer died a few days later.

Dr. Ibeabuchi disclosed that he started manifesting symptoms of the disease 12 days later as his body temperature continued to rise beyond 38.5 degrees Celsius. He said when his condition continued to degenerate, he reported to the Lagos State Ministry of Health and was advised to restrict his contact with members of his family.

According to him, his body temperature got to an all time high of over 40 degrees at which point the Medical team from Lagos State came and took him to the isolation centre after decontaminating his house. He thanked the Lagos State Government and all the other agencies and individuals who took care of him and made it possible for him to survive.

Another survivor, Dr. Adaora Igonoh, thanked the Lagos State Governor and the Government for their dedication in the battle to contain the spread of the disease which, according to her, made it possible for some victims, including herself to survive the virus.

Dr. Igonoh, who is also a staff of First Consultants Hospital, commended the hospital and the staff for the risk they took to ensure that the disease did not spread beyond the limit it did. She also paid tribute to those who lost their lives, adding that without their sacrifice, the story would probably have been different.

Also giving his testimony, Mr. Dennis Akagha, fiancee to Justina Akagha, a nursing staff of First Consultants Hospital who died days after attending to Patrick Sawyer, said he got to hear about his fiancee's contact with Sawyer when the death of the Liberian was announced on television. She later told him she'd treated Sawyer.

He said when the symptoms of the disease started manifesting in Justina, they first thought it was pregnancy induced or Malaria because she'd told him she wore protective gloves while attending to Sawyer. He said that on the 14th day, Justina's condition worsened and he took her to First Consultants from where he was directed to the Isolation Centre in Yaba where she later passed on.

He disclosed that he did not immediately go to hospital when he started manifesting the symptoms until he started vomiting and feeling dehydrated. He said he was finally taken to the Isolation Centre where he was treated and discharged after he tested negative of the virus.

Other survivors who gave testimonies were Dr. Fadipe Akinniyi, also a staff of First Consultants Hospital and Dr. (Mrs.) Kelechi Emenuo, wife of late Dr. Emenuo, who treated one of Mr. Sawyer's companions in Port Harcourt and later died of the disease.

Hey Lovers: The Role of ‘Visions’ in Relationships

Hey Lovers: The Role of 'Visions' in Relationships Written by MzChizzy

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Love rocks! Few things can be compared to the joy of being in a strong, healthy and happy relationship. But you would agree that relationships require hard work, time, attention, planning, and executing activities that ultimately lead to the intimacy and happiness you so desire. Without the necessary efforts to keep the love alive, the relationship will wither. Do this for 1, 3 or 8 years, it's eventually time to walk down the aisle…and suddenly there is a REVELATION!…which oftentimes becomes the genesis of a super story.
Let me to introduce you to Lanre – resourceful, pretty, hardworking Advertising Executive and God-fearing too. Lanre is engaged to be married to a widower. They have been together for 4years and she's ready to tie the knot with the love of her life. It's been a long time coming. "Have you asked for God's blessing on this wedding? Are you sure he is the man for you? Let us go and seek God's face" suggested Aunty Kella.
A visit to a religious leader reveals Lanre is headed for destruction if she marries le boo. The chances of her dying on her wedding night are as high as a mountain. Fast forward 3 days and it is end of engagement, end of her highly anticipated wedding. Lanre is 37.
Now here's what I think… Deciding whom you'll marry is hugely important and will affect extensively the rest of your life. Given the weight of this decision, it's only natural to want reassurance that you're doing the right thing. What I really do not understand is why that reassurance should come only from a religious leader – Pastor or Alfa in our part of the world.

No offense, but why is he seeing this vision when the couple is a step away from singlehood? Why not see it in their 1st or 2nd year of dating? Is it the same vision that gives a man the audacity to walk up to a woman and tell her that God has revealed to him that the lady in question is his wife when in actuality, all he has done is donate handsomely to a religious leader so that he will see the vision to his advantage?
Whilst it's okay to seek HIS guidance in the choice of a marriage mate, where exactly do you draw the line? Whatever happened to praying on your own or with your would-be spouse?
What do you think? Would you listen to a religious leader's advice to leave the man/woman of your dreams because he foresees danger…after dating le boo for only God-knows-how-long? Your heart tells you to stay. You know you are meant for each other, you have invested so much in the relationship. 5 years no be beans.
Breaking your heart and his is the least thing you want to do right now. Would you go ahead and cancel your wedding or would you listen to the late Joan Rivers who said – "Don't follow any advice, no matter how good, until you feel as deeply in your spirit as you think in your mind that the counsel is wise."
Please indulge us, what has He revealed to you while reading this article? Pray, tell!

8 Reasons Why Your Worst Enemy Is Yourself

8 Reasons Why Your Worst Enemy Is Yourself

We all experience those moments of self-loathing, unrelenting frustration that stems from our own hands. We also seem to hit a wall every now and then, question the road that we're on and maybe have a quarter and/or middle life crisis. It's not entirely inexplicable.

Indecision, self-doubt, lack of confidence or motivation are all byproducts of our inner villain. We don't need to demonstrate a Dexter-complex to know that we can be the number one cause of our own failures and downfalls. Fortunately, there's a solution: we just have to be aware of this monster inside of us, understand its gameplan and overpower its demoralizing voice.

So, what do you need to know? Listed below are 8 reasons why you, of all people, are your number one worst enemy, along with how you can overcome, well, yourself.

1. You Don't Manage Your Expectations

There's an ambitious, starry-eyed voice that guides you. Even louder may be a voice of complete impracticality and unrealistic hope. Don't get them confused.

It's good to expect a lot of yourself, great to forecast good things coming your way. However, if you walk into every situation with an expectation to gain the most out of it, you're going to almost always come out of it feeling unfulfilled. If you set ridiculous goals for yourself – say, you're going to sign up for that gym membership and commit to a workout every second day after work – you'll either burn yourself out and crash or let go of the commitment and experience some measure of having failed yourself.

This becomes especially dangerous when you mismanage expectations that are outside the sphere of your control. Expecting others to act a certain way, expecting your boss to reward you in the near future or your favorite sports team to win the championship – you have little to no control over these matters and will experience devastation if things don't work out your way – all due to the mismanagement of your expectations.

Make sure that you set realistic goals for yourself – don't bite off more than you can chew. Understand that you don't control things outside of your own sphere. Look towards, but don't expect, that next raise or promotion. Be realistic. If we expect to get everything, we'll be left feeling unfulfilled; if we don't expect much, we'll be left feeling content with what we've gained.

2. You Fail to Appreciate the Small Things

We don't have much time on this little blue rock that's hurdling through the universe, but that's no excuse to rush through life and only focus on the big things that seem to matter. You want a car, a house, a good job, a loving husband or wife, two kids and a dog. Or cat. That's all fine, but in the pursuit of these goals we fail to take a second and appreciate the smaller things around us. The aroma rising from a cup of coffee in the morning, the cool breeze that follows a rainfall on the hottest day of the summer, the peculiarity of a cloud. Even the small things you do and achieve on a daily basis matter.

One of the fundamental goals in everyone's life is to have a pleasurable time here. When you begin to appreciate every little thing before your eyes, on a day to day basis, you'll undoubtedly feel enriched. The trick is to keep up with it, as concerns or problems will always bog down our mind and distract your attention.

This becomes especially important in the context of our own success. If we fail to appreciate the small things that we accomplish, we'll begin to lose a sense of self-respect. If you're constantly worried about landing that new job, not realizing that you've learned to become a master of living on a tight budget in the meantime, then you're overlooking something that can provide you with a feeling of self-respect. If you find yourself having to bike to work because you need a new car, appreciate the benefits towards your health. It requires a degree of optimism, but taking into account all the good things you do on a small scale helps build your confidence, motivation, and self-respect.

3. You Take Too Much For Granted

Similar to the point made above, this quality of your inner enemy is by far the most pervasive. Every now and again we'll donate to a charity and count our own blessings, or witness someone close to us experience a tragedy that will result in our own feeling of gratitude for not having to go through what they're going through. Why aren't we doing this every day?

If you're reading this then you're somewhere with an internet connection, likely with a roof over your head and some time to spare. When was the last time you stopped to truly appreciate your circumstances? And why should we even bother?

When you don't take things for granted, you simply squeeze more out of life. We always hear, 'kids in Africa…' but do we really take time to stop and think of how privileged we may be in the midst of all our complaining? Whether it's our health, our abilities, the love from friends and family, our hobbies, our freedom from outright tyranny or war-like conditions – we all have something that we can be truly grateful for.

4. You are Your Own Worst Critic

Don't get me wrong – it's good be a strict judge of your own character. The problem arises when you take it too far. When you constantly criticize and find faults with what you do and who you are, you'll never reach a necessary level of satisfaction to be truly content with yourself.

If you tend to judge yourself too much, you effectively hold yourself back; if you sell yourself short, you'll never experience the full value of your potential. Get to know this voice that criticizes you, try to understand where it comes from and why it is that you listen to it. Don't beat yourself up over every mistake – after all, experience through mistakes is a perfectly sound method of learning. Constantly over-criticizing yourself will hold you back, hamper your confidence, and make you dwell on things that may not even matter.

5. You Over-Analyze

Another characteristic of human nature – we over-think absolutely everything. We can go around in circles, contemplating solutions that aren't necessary, relying on assumptions that are ultimately false. There's a struggle between our mind and our instinct, our brain and our heart. We come up with an initial answer to a problem, then over-complicate the matter and do a complete 180. But, it's good to think things through, is it not?

While it is important to think carefully about certain matters, over-thinking them can prove detrimental. For instance, if your next job interview leaves you with a bad feeling (say, you know that your boss would be a real pain to work under), and you instinctively say no, your rationality may eventually override the decision and lead you to take the position because of the other benefits that surround its acquisition. Before you know it, you're stuck in a miserable circumstance for eight hours a day, later realizing that it's not worth those benefits.

To avoid unnecesary over-thinking? Trust in your instincts, break problems down and don't put too much emphasis on idealizing all the potential implications of every decision when a simple pro/con list may suffice. Ensure that you're not basing decisions upon misled or faulty assumptions – our mind will mistakenly fill in certain blanks to ascertain a desirable answer.

6. You Prefer the Easy Way

When life gives us lemons, why should we bother to make lemonade when we can just go out and buy it? Short cuts are a way of life, and though they may be a necessary time saver, they detract from our sense of working towards something – earning it.

Working towards something affixes a certain meaning to it, develops your sense of appreciation and contributes to the great sense of accomplishment at the end of the road. Your inner enemy holds you back; if you never go the extra mile, you'll never experience the extra rewards that may come as a result. You can't expect full results while using only half the effort. It's in our nature to avoid inconveniences, but oftentimes they're called for.

Next time you have to go well out of your way to complete a task or help someone, just do it. Ignore the lazy voice in your head and agree to take the hard way once in a while. You'll learn a lot about yourself.

7. You Assume

Projecting certain assumptions onto certain situations can be disastrous. Our brain works to fill in the gaps however it can, forming answers on faulty presumptions if necessary. If you assume your spouse is mad at you for something you may have done, it'll lead you towards developing a defensive stance or counter-attacking when no concern may even be warranted. Don't assume that someone may be mad because XYZ happened when you're unaware of ABC. We make this mistake countless times, all because we subconsciously fill in the blanks with answers that are incorrect.

To prevent this, you have to understand your train of thought. Don't place your own standards on others, moral or otherwise, as everyone is different and thinks a different way. Rely on valid facts, not just assumptions, before deciding on a particular course of action. Understand that you may not know the full story behind everything you're involved in. Many times, we must rely on nothing but an assumption – just don't invest too much into the outcome when you're dealing with unknown circumstances.

8. You Doubt Yourself

The cliche piece of advice that every parent gives you. And for good reason. Self-doubt is, in itself, unwarranted. If you've failed at something and ultimately doubt that you can do it, it'll only prevent you from progressing. Oftentimes, self-doubt may just be an unwillingness to do something.

There's a difference between self-doubt and low expectations. Low expectations may lead to a sense of pragmatism, whereas self-doubt may force you to neglect your potential; the former doesn't hamper your effort whilst the latter certainly does.

Under no circumstances should you ever doubt yourself. When it comes to your potential, realize that the sky is the limit. Use your sense of realism to evaluate the consequences of your action – don't just pessimistically assume that your action will have unfavourable consequences. Take this time-tested piece of cliche advice into consideration.

Sad..Generator fumes kill man, wife & 3 children in Ikorodu

Generator fumes kill man, wife & 3 children in Ikorodu
Generator fumes kill man, wife & 3 children in Ikorodu
Generator fumes has killed a man, his wife and all his 3 children in Ipoyewa community of Ikorodu, Lagos. The bodies of the family was discovered by neighbours last Friday September 12th in their home. All five suffocated to death after inhaling fumes from a generator which they'd kept in their room. According to neighbours, the man bought the generator just two days before the unfortunate incident and was afraid it will be stolen if left outside so he kept it inside his 2-room apartment.

When the family failed to come out late Friday morning, a neighbour peeped through their window, saw bodies, and alerted others. They broke down the door to discover the horror. And when I say horror, I mean horror. The photos are really graphic so please be warned.

Residents of the community are blaming the family's deaths on lack of power in the area. They claim the last time they had light was 3 years ago, that every house in the area uses a generator. They said they have called on the government many times to help them with light but their efforts have yielded no fruit

The Photos(Above pics) of the man brandishing a sign that read "Girlfriend Sharing" appeared on the Chinese social media site Weibo this week. And on offer is the chance to eat, study, play games or go on dates with the woman, although it did warn there would be no "funny business".

According to posters on Weibo, the man claimed his girlfriend was a willing participant in the scheme, which offered her up for 10 yuan (£1) per hour. The identity of the man is not yet clear, though his advertising exploits took place at Songjiang University in Shanghai.

He wondered who the boys were; so, these were the thieves that did not believe his story that it was the forbidden fruit and had been stealing from it. He picked up his cane and went out through the side door as noiselessly as possible. He began to tiptoe towards the boys who were busy picking the oranges and plucking the ones their hands could reach. "Now, all of you come over here to me," Mr. Jacob said. Do Not Buy Your Aircraft Carrier From Russia

Do Not Buy Your Aircraft Carrier From Russia

Don't Buy Your Aircraft Carrier From Russia -- Kyle Mizokami, Real Clear Defense/War Is Boring

India learned the hard way with INS Vikramaditya

Like a lot of countries, India wants the best weapons it can afford. But ideological and financial concerns mean there are a lot of things it won't buy from the United States or Europe. That pretty much leaves, well, Russia.

India has been a big buyer of Russian weapons for 50 years. Those haven't been easy years for New Delhi. India's defense contracts with Russia have consistently suffered delays and cost overruns. And the resulting hardware doesn't always work.

Of all India's Russian procurement woes, none speak more to the dysfunctional relationship between the two countries than the saga of INS Vikramaditya. In the early 2000s, India went shopping for a new aircraft carrier. What followed was a military-industrial nightmare.

What you pay is what you get .... and if you pay cheap expect something cheap in return. An aircraft carrier for under $1 billion .... who were they kidding. On a side note .... it is good to know that when it comes to military procurement .... the U.S. is not the only country that sometimes has problems.

Rob Kardashian -- NOT A DADDY!

Rob Kardashian -- NOT A DADDY!

0918-rob-kardashian-getty-01
Rob Kardashian is NOT a daddy ... he's intentionally punked the media by tweeting out some not-so-cryptic hints he's a father and then watching the lies spiral out of control online.

Sources VERY close to Rob tell TMZ ... Rob was testing the media Thursday night by tweeting, "Was with my baby mama tonight." In July, he tweeted, "Happy I got my Son with me for the 4th tomorrow."

Various outlets immediately took the bait, but here's the thing ... there is no baby mama and no baby.

It's an interesting strategy ... Rob's been taking heat for his weight and substance abuse.  Not a bad diversionary tactic.

Pres. Jonathan lacks the experience to lead Nigeria- Atiku Abubakar says

Former Vice President and APC presidential aspirant Atiku Abubakar said in an interview with AFP today that President Jonathan lacks the experience to lead Nigeria, saying it's the reason Boko Haram activities has been on the increase.

"This insurgency shouldn't have lasted even six months. Within weeks, we (Obasanjo and I) crushed it because we did not neglect military training and, of course, we did not lack the leadership and the capacity to take decisions. I told Nigerians that he [Jonathan] did not have the capacity; he didn't have the experience. He didn't have anything and yet they gave him the chance, the opportunity. And they can now see the chance and the opportunity they gave him. Of course, I'm more experienced than he is. I believe my capacity cannot be compared with his, in all respect." he said

Honestly Lola is one lady that can pull any look and still looks good with it despite some people terming the look 'weird'. In these pictures, Lola tried Braids, Curls and even had her hair cut just to get her desired hair style. But above all, she looked stunning trying the three different looks. Check out more photos of her after the cut. Beautiful woman.
