Great people of Nigeria, I presume I need no further introduction when I say I am the Ayomide you all have been engrossed with knowing over the past couple of days. This is the statement you all have been waiting for...

On the 14th of February, my fiancee and I decided to go out as we usually do, albeit with the touch of something unique. A couple of days earlier we had sent out shirts to be branded with the words "I f*cking Love You" and our names written on it...and it came back on Valentine morning with a slight error which I believe you all have seen. Deciding against dropping our plans because of a misplaced word, we went to treat ourselves on that special day.

Taking pictures is a routine thing for us, so we paid 4 a studio photo session...unknown to us, we had a lover-less and jobless follower who needed to score cheap popularity and made it his unsolicited duty to take pictures of us during parts of our photoshoot, thereby ruining a perfect Feb 14.

@TytbonesCEO, now you have your popularity, can we get back to our lives before your unwarranted intrusion?

Bruce Jenner may face Manslaughter charges after new video from crash emerges

Bruce Jenner was involved in a multiple accident in LA on Feb. 7th that claimed the life of 69 year old Kim Howe. Initially he blamed the crash on another car that hit his but new video that emerged yesterday showed he was the one who crashed into two cars. The fatal accident was caught on video by a bus traveling behind the Hummer that was involved in the accident. Continue for the full story...

A MTA bus caught the entire Bruce Jenner car crash on video and sources tell TMZ it squarely shows Bruce struck both cars, and the Lexus driver NEVER made contact with the Prius.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... they are in possession of the video. Sources familiar with the bus in question -- which was directly behind the Hummer -- tell TMZ there are cameras mounted on the front, back and sides, and the videos show the entire accident.

Law enforcement will not tell us what's on the video, but sources familiar with the video in question tell us it's clear the Lexus never made contact with the Prius. Bruce hit the Lexus, which propelled it into oncoming traffic and then struck the Hummer. Bruce then continued on and hit the Prius.

We obtained a re-creation of the accident, which was NOT based on the video but which sources tell us accurately reflects what is on the MTA video. The re-creation, however, does not show the braking of Bruce's or the other vehicles, which could be a factor.

The MTA video is critical ... because Bruce -- and not the Lexus driver who died -- hit the Prius, it makes a more compelling case that he was following too close, which opens the door to a possible vehicular manslaughter prosecution.

APC Now Majority In House Of Representatives

Following the defection of 6 PDP House of Reps members to other political parties yesterday Feb. 17th, the APC now has clear majority in the House of Reps according to a report by Channels TV.

The lawmakers, Robinson Uwak (Akwa-Ibom) and Mohammed Ibrahim (Jigawa) defected to the APC, Tobias Okwurio Chukwuemeka (Ebonyi) and Peter Ali (Ebonyi) moved to the Labour Party, Akpan Umoh (Akwa-Ibom) defected to Accord Party while Chineyen Eke (Abia) defected to APGA.

With the defections, the total number of APC members in the lower chamber now stands at 181 while the PDP members in the house is 156. Other parties in the house now share 23 seats, with SDP occupying 10, the Labour Party five, APGA four, PDM two, and the Accord Party two seats.

Stanley, a final year student of Lasu has been killed by a DHL truck while he was standing by a road side not too far from the school gate. The driver however tried to escape, but some students apprehended him and seized the truck. Stanley's family later contacted DHL and they denied the truck was theirs, after initially offering his family N5m, and later cutting it down to N350,000 after a while. The matter is now in court. Police Threaten Strike Over Unpaid Salaries

More than 15,000 police officers have threatened to either go on strike or disrupt the March 28 and April 11 general elections.

They were made up of officers who were promoted from the rank of sergeant to the rank of inspector and those promoted from the rank of inspector to the rank of assistant superintendent of police in December 2013.

The policemen, according to seven of them who met with a Punch correspondent in Abuja on Tuesday, said that they were promoted since December 2013, but that the police authorities had refused to pay them their new salaries.

They said that after waiting for the police authorities for over a year, they were surprised that they were paid their new salaries with the January 2015 salaries, wondering why the money meant for the 13 month was not included.

One of them said, "We were promoted in December 2013 and the letters which were given to us indicated that we were to enjoy the benefits accruing to our new rank from the date of our promotion.

"We waited to be paid throughout last year, which was 2014. They didn't pay us, saying that the money was not yet released.

"In January this year, they paid us the new salary that was commensurate with our new ranks. But they have refused to pay the areas for the 13 month."

Another officer, who is an ASP, said, "We know that there is corruption in the Force, but how can someone sit on our 13th month salaries and would expect us to keep quiet?

"Elections are coming. They said we should be neutral. How can we be neutral when we are being shortchanged by our bosses and the country?

"We want to be paid or else there would be crisis during the elections. This is the time for us to shout so that Nigerians would know what we are passing through."

When contacted by one of our correspondents, the Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, said though he had not been briefed about the issue, he nevertheless promised that their grievances would be looked into and addressed.

"I have not heard of the report, but we will look into their grievances and address them," he said.
