Its with deep pain that I send this mail to you. I'm an optimist by nature. I keep believing that things will be better. I had a successful career in the private sector in banking before I moved to the states where I currently reside. I grew up in Lagos and had my fair share of relationships at the time.

Just before I relocated, I started seeing someone seriously. The plan was for him to join me much later on in a year or two depending on when I can file for his immigration to the states. Within a few months of dating he proposed to me and I accepted. We got married a few months afterwards. He has now permanently joined me in the states and I am just seeing another side of him that I cannot imagine. My husband expects me to do everything including get a job for him! He cannot get on a computer and do a simple job search! And he was a first class student from Nnamdi Azikiwe University! How can a full fledged adult be like that? I am almost losing my mind because it is almost like I am his mother. I constantly drift in and out of depression. I am even afraid of holding conversations for fear that I might discover more things. Please how do I proceed. My marriage is barely 6 months. My marriage is in trouble.

P.S my husband reads your blog everyday but am going to deny writing this

During the fracas that broke out at the APC governorship rally in Okrika Rivers state yesterday Feb. 17th, a Channels TV Senior correspondent Charles Eruka was stabbed in the neck by some hoodlums. Narrating what happened in an interview with Channels TV, Eruka said the hoodlums stabbed him while he was struggling to keep his phone which they wanted to take from him

Popular 90s rapper, actor and TV host Vanilla Ice, 47, has been arrested for stealing furniture from inside a home close to the one he was renovating. *sigh*. Report below by TMZ...

Vanilla Ice has been arrested and charged with burglary and grand theft for allegedly stealing furniture, a pool heater, bicycles and other stuff from a vacant home in Florida.

Lantana PD tells TMZ ... it's all connected to Ice's TV show, "The Vanilla Ice Project." Ice was renovating a nearby home and allegedly thought it was a good idea to go to the abandoned place and take the items in question.

Apparently, even though the house was vacant, the rightful owner had a problem with someone jacking their belongings ... thus the burglary charge. The cops got a search warrant and recovered some of the items.

Man Sentenced in Lagos for Stealing a Pot of Soup!

Somolu Magistrates' Court in Lagos State on Monday sentenced a 28- year-old man, Abiodun Ojedokun, to six days of community service for stealing a large pot of soup.

The Magistrate, Mrs Bola Osunsanmi, sentenced the convict to 48 hours of community service for each of the three-count charge, after he had pleaded guilty to them.

"Based on the facts of this case before this court, the confirmed report and your plea of leniency, I hereby sentence you to 48 hours community service on each of the counts of the charge," Osunsanmi said.

The convict, arraigned on a three-count charge of conspiracy, burglary and stealing, pleaded guilty to all the charges preferred against him.

The prosecutor, ASP Akinlabi Adegoke, told the court that the convict, who was a casual worker and whose address was unknown, committed the offences on Sept. 20 at 2:00 a.m. at the Onipanu Model Market in Somolu, Lagos State.

"The accused connived with some others, now at large, to break into one Mrs Gbadamosi Sanni's shop at 2:00 a.m.

"They broke the locks and stole her large pot of soup, valued at N8,000," Adegoke said.

The prosecutor told the court that the offences contravened Sections 285, 308 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

Ojedokun pleaded guilty to the charges and asked for leniency, claiming that he committed the offence because he was starving.

Indian Man Kidnaps Himself in Abuja! Asks for 7 Million Naira Ransom!!!

You are looking at Vishwanath Mishall, an Indian native residing in Abuja who arranged hs own kidnap and demanded a 7 Million Naira ransom from his boss. Mishall who has been arrested by the Anti-kidnap squad of the Nigerian Police force, left Abuja and travelled to Enugu State when he arranged his own kidnapping.

His accomplice called to inform his employers that he had been kidnapped and would only be released if a ransom of N10m was paid.

According to the Nigerian Police Force, an agreement of N7m was reached, which was paid into an account of the Kidnapping accomplice. Mishall was however arrested on Thursday February 12 when he went to the back to the bank to withdraw the money at Enugu.

Mishall has confessed that he faked his own kidnapping as a plot to get money off his boss. The Abuja Criminal Investigating Department is still investigating before the suspect will be charged to court.
