It might seem like a long time ago now, but just before Christmas, Brendan Rodgers was under all sorts of pressure.

Despite spending a small fortune in the summer, the Liverpool boss had seen his side slump to 10th place in the Premier League table. Things were bleak - so bleak that it had been some time since anyone had seen those suspiciously white teeth revealed by ONE of his big grins.

Going into the home game against Arsenal on 21 December, there were even mutterings about Rodgers' job being under threat.

So, the Northern Irishman must have been delighted to see Jesus himself take some time out (during his busiest time of the year) to turn up at the game and offer his support.

Many people laughed at the time and suggested this was just a daft Liverpool fan pratting about.

But look at this fact and try to tell us that Rodgers has not been the subject of some divine intervention.
