Seven people have reportedly been  beheaded by Boko Haram terrorists on Monday, October 6 in Ngamdu, Borno state. Residents confirmed to Vanguard that the brutal killings occurred during an overnight raid as they woke up to discover the corpses. A member of the community, Musa Abor said:

The gunmen "slit their (victims) throats just the way people slaughter goats"

Abor also added that the victims had been beheaded, a claim which was reportedly confirmed by an official of the state.
