Synagogue Building Collapse: Death Toll Rises To 80 As Church Reluctant To Release Names Of Victims
Despite South African President and authorities from Australia making enquiries about the deaths of it citizens, from the unfortunate five-story building of a guest house in Synagogue Church of All Nations which collapsed on Friday, the church is yet to release a list, despite the pressure.

Although the South African government had Tuesday claimed that 67 of its citizens perished in the collapsed building but rescue operators are faced with the challenge of identifying the nationalities of the dead and survivors, owing to what they alleged as reluctance from SCOAN to produce the names.

The South West spokesperson for the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA  Ibrahim Farinloye, yesterday said, additional 17 victims comprising 12 women and five men were yesterday discovered under the rubble, which makes the figure rise to 80.  We will continue working until we get to the last level of excavation because it is possible that more bodies are still trapped underneath the rubble, he said.
