Youths allegedly attempt to lynch three children accused of witchcraft in Akwa Ibom
Three children, who are siblings, have been accused of witchcraft by residents of Unyenge, Mbo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. They merely escaped from the hands of some angry youths of the area who attempted to lynch them.

The victims─ Masters Shedrack Esin, 14; Israel Esin, 10; and Miss Miracle Esin,7, became objects of attack after their father, Mr. Etim Esin, was murdered by some unidentified persons on Monday morning in Unyenge, Mbo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.

Sequel to his death, Etim had also been accused of witchcraft by the residents, who insisted that he wanted to use the witchcraft to kill a resident of the area.

The children were, however, rescued by African Children Aid Education and Development Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, which contacted the police.

If you steal, you have committed sin, if you tell lies, you are a sinner, and every sinner will be cast into hell fire," Mr. Jacobs said. The interpreter translated. The Whiteman went on and on. "This man is also a sinner," Tanko whispered to Garba who was sitting close by. "If you know you have sinned against God by ....
